BREAKING: Avalanche Star Enters the Players Assistance Program
In breaking news, this Colorado Avalanche star has reportedly just elected to enter the player assistance program and will miss some time.
Valeri Nichushkin is having an incredible year, with 42 points in 40 games played. However, it appears his incredible season has hit a major hiccup. Now, a Colorado Avalanche insider is reporting that Nichushkin is entering the NHL's Player Assistance program.
This is not official yet, but I'm hearing Valeri Nichushkin is back in the NHL player assistance program, out indefinitely
Nichushkin missed the game against the Toronto Maple Leafs, and has been absent from the Avalanche. This is by no means official, but definitely something to keep an eye on.
Nichushkin has been in some trouble off the ice in the past, as last season he had an incident in a hotel room in Seattle during the Colorado Avalanche's Stanley Cup Run.
