BREAKING: Massive Injury Update for Joe Pavelski

A huge update on Joe Pavelski's health has just been provided by Dallas Stars Head Coach Pete DeBoer. Pavelski was taken out of the Stars' game two nights ago following a massive hit from Wild defenseman Matt Dumba.

Pavelski Enters Concussion Protocol

DeBoer confirmed to the media today that Pavelski has been placed in concussion protocol following the scary scene that took place during game one.

DeBoer added that Pavelski came in with the Stars today and is improving every day, which is great news for the veteran forward. DeBoer was also Pavelski's coach on the Sharks when Pavelski suffered a much more serious head injury, and says that this time around he's doing much better.

This is relieving news for many fans who were concerned about the health and safety of Pavelski following the scary incident last game. His timeframe for return is unknown right now.
