Jamie Benn Under Fire for Embarrassing Moment Following Game Three Loss
The Dallas Stars had better nights than yesterday's. Not only did they lose 4-0 and now trail 0-3 in the series against Las Vegas, but the captain Jamie Benn's behavior was unsportsmanlike and humiliating.
Less than two minutes after the game started, Benn was ejected after a dangerous cross-check on Mark Stone's head.
At the end of the second period, Max Domi was also ejected, and fans had enough.
Benn's bad night didn't end there.
Disgraceful Move by Benn After his Ejection
Benn simply failed in his captain duties. After such an important loss, you take the time to speak with the media; that's sportsmanship 101.
"Jamie Benn just walked out of the arena and got in his car without talking to the media, after he was issued a game misconduct 1:53 into Game 3 for cross-checking."
He should have known better.
He'll have a lot of explaining to do the next time he faces the cameras.
