BREAKING: NHL Teams Are Done With Former Top Pick
A former 6th overall pick was placed on waivers yesterday and cleared waivers today implying that NHL teams are done with him and have given up.
Zadina Clears Waivers
When Filip Zadina was drafted back in 2018, he was seen as a future 40 goal scorer who would fill his oppositions nets with pucks. However, 5 years years later in 2023, none of that has come to fruition and Zadina may be leaving the NHL soon.
Yesterday, Zadina was placed on waivers by the Detroit Red Wings who selected him 6th overall in 2018.
Today, it was announced that Zadina cleared waivers.
This means that all other 31 NHL teams felt that they could not be asked with a Zadina reclamation project. Super disappointing for the once promising Czech forward.
