BREAKING: NHL prospect retires at 24
A 24 years-old prospect in the Edmonton Oilers organization announced his retirement from profesionnal hockey.
Philp Retires
#Oilers prospect Noah Philp has retired from professional hockey for personal reasons at just age 24.
GM Ken Holland said the player rejected a two-year extension in favor of retirement because he «wants to be around Calgary and close to his family and friends. For personal reasons, he's not playing hockey.»
The club was anxious to see what he could do at training camp next year, but Holland did admit this was a very tough year for the player and he wasn't interested. #LetsGoOilers" He chose family instead of hockey and he deserves respect for that!
We wish him all the happiness in the world.
