Connor McDavid Gets Blown Out in Beer League Finals
Connor McDavid and his beer league team have been embarrassingly eliminated from their quest for a championship.
McDavid's Beer League Blowout
Recently, Connor McDavid went viral for playing beer league hockey. While the rest of the NHL is training in professional facilities, McDavid is having some fun by punching well below his weight class.
Well, it seems like McDavid and his team "the blue team" got blown out by 2020 2nd overall pick, Quinton Byfield, and his team "the red team" with the red team reportedly winning 9-4.
However, it does not appear that McDavid was trying because if he was, the game would have likely been a lot closer.
One person in attendance wrote the following:
"Connor was playing at 00.3% effort and STILL made everyone else look like they had polio"
At the end of the day, it seems like McDavid had some fun and he was able to not get hurt which is a win in any NHLers book playing beer league.
