Connor McDavid has just shocked the hockey world with a massive announcement regarding his future.

Congrats Connor!

McDavid and his girlfriend Lauren Kyle have made a major announcement regarding their future as a couple. The duo announced their engagement on Instagram today in a heartfelt post.

22.06.23 was the best day of my life. I cannot put into words how happy I am to be spending the rest of our lives together. Almost 8 years of growth, happiness and so much love and I can't believe we have so much more to look forward to.

I knew you were my person from the day we met and I can't wait for the beautiful life we are going to create together.

Thank you for the most thoughtful, picture perfect proposal that I could never have imagined. I love you more than anything.

We're so happy for McDavid and Kyle, and can't wait to see the newly engaged couple get married!

Engagement Ring, Check. Cup Ring Next?

Fans were quick to make jokes out of McDavid's Fiancee having a ring, while McDavid has yet to win a Stanley Cup ring.
