Report: Insider reveals Evander Kane could be on his way out of Edmonton due to recent development
A new report from this NHL insider has just revealed that Evander Kane could be on the outs in Edmonton as the trade deadline heats up and the Oilers look to add to their roster.
Kane Reportedly Causing Rifts In Edmonton Locker Room
With the Edmonton Oilers looking to improve their roster at the deadline this year, that will come with some shakeups in the current lineup. When considering who might have to go the other way in a trade, Evander Kane's name has been brought up.
Kane has had a great year, and his trade value is likely pretty high. He has reportedly had issues with Edmonton's stars Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl, which could lead to his departure from Edmonton.

Kane has an NMC in his contract which would make him hard to move, however, if the reports about him having issues in the locker room are true, he may be willing to waive that.

The Oilers already made a splash this year, bringing in Sam Carrick and Adam Henrique in a trade with Anaheim. This will add some much-needed depth to the Oilers offence. However, many fans are still wanting the Oilers to add on the blueline, a position that has been a competitive market for all of the NHL.
We will see what the Oilers still have in their back pocket as the deadline comes up, and if Evander Kane will be the piece that is on his way out.
