Last night, a prospect of the Toronto Maple Leafs beat one of McDavid's record!

In a game between the London Knights and the Kitchener Rangers, in the OHL, Easton Cowan scored a point for the 28th consecutive game.

He surpassed a mark held by Connor McDavid and Alex DeBrincat by extending his streak.

"Easton Cowan is unstoppable on the penalty kill 🥵

The @MapleLeafs prospect scores shorthanded to extend his point streak to 28 games, passing Connor McDavid and Alex DeBrincat for the second-longest this decade 📊"

Cowan scored 80 points, including 30 goals, in only 46 games with the Knights. The Leafs' first round pick in 2023 shows that he's ready to take on the next level. We can't wait to see him in Toronto, with the Marlies or the Maple Leafs.

With the trade deadline approaching, it's safe to say that Cowan, being one of the top prospects in Toronto, is untouchable. If he does get traded, it'll be for an astronomical price.
