Now, Sheldon Keefe has revealed that the plan is to have Lyubushkin play tonight.
Timothy Liljegren is possible as well but the fact that he didn't practice today puts it in question.
The hope for tomorrow is that Ilya Lyubushkin can play provided he gets here fine and there are no visa issues.
With Timothy Liljegren questionable, and Mark Giordano out with a head injury, there was clearly a desperate need to bring in Lyubushkin as a reinforcement on the Leafs' blueline. While the trade itself has been criticized on social media, the Leafs still have room to make more deals.
