Matthew Tkachuk calls out the Bruins after beating them
A new comment from Matthew Tkachuk is going viral on social media after he insulted the Bruins and the city of Boston after his team's Game 6 series win.
The Florida Panthers came into last night's game needing just one more win to secure a spot in the Eastern Conference Finals. After a great game the Panthers secured that win and a date with the New York Rangers.
After the game Matthew Tkachuk in an interview said he is excited for the opportunity to play the New York Rangers. He also took a major shot at the city of Boston for a stunt that was pulled earlier in the day.
It's playoff hockey in New York. It's a dream... Conference final at MSG? That's just so cool. We're excited to start that on Wednesday. Hopefully, the hotel doesn't pull the fire alarm on us.
Matthew Tkachuk has always been known for his friendly banter back and forth with opposing teams and that continued after they beat the Bruins. Now he and the Florida Panthers will head to New York to take on the President's Trophy winning New York Rangers in a battle of the top two teams in the East.
