Game Four of the Stanley Cup Finals saw Edmonton finally get on the board, but they may not be getting lucky with the suspension fate of Panthers' Matthew Tkachuk.

After three straight massive wins for the Florida Panthers, the Edmonton Oilers fought back on home ice in Game Four, but it didn't come without plenty of drama. With the Panthers down 5-1, things began getting spicy in the second period, with the teams needing to be separated as Matthew Tkachuk and Connor McDavid came together.

During this scrum, Tkachuk was seen punching the Oilers captain, in what was an unsurprising piece of intensity given how physical things have been in this series.

Many Oilers fans called for a suspension of the Panthers superstar, but now, the 5PM ET deadline has officially come and gone, signalling that there will be no further discipline for No. 19.

Now that 5 pm EST has passed, it is official that Matthew Tkachuk will NOT be receiving any supplementary discipline for jumping a defenseless Connor McDavid

It was a matter of days ago that there were expectations of a Leon Draisaitl suspension for his hit in game two, but with no further punishment there, it's no surprise that Tkachuk will be ready to go for game four. With the series shifting back to Florida, the Oilers need to be just as dominant if they are to keep themselves alive, so expect similar levels of intensity.
