BREAKING: Canadiens Extend Fan Favourite to a Multi-Year Deal
If you were to have told Michael Pezzetta three years ago that he'd still be on an NHL contract, he wouldn't have believed you.
Now, he has a signed a two-year extension with the Montreal Canadiens.
Pezzetta Signs for Two Years
After making himself a roster spot on the 2021-22 Canadiens, Michael Pezzetta found his way into the hearts of fans and management alike.
He has now signed a two-year extension with an annual average value of $812,500.
The enforcer, who won't turn down a fight, and pulls off eclectic celebrations, is one of the most likeable players in the league, and will surely remain a fan favourite throughout his next contract.
