Arber Xhekaj has missed the past few games with an injury to his right shoulder. The Canadiens have now released an official update.
Xhekaj's Season Has Come to an End
It is crushing news as the Canadiens have announced that Arber Xhekaj will receive surgery on his right shoulder.
This will end his breakout rookie season, where he established himself as a great blueline prospect.
The surgery will be done by the same surgeon who did operations on Cole Caufield and Josh Anderson.
Hopefully Xhekaj will be back with a vengeance next season!
