Canadiens Juraj Slafkovsky introduces his new girlfriend to the world
It appears that Habs forward Juraj Slafkovsky has fallen in love with a Quebecer, and her name is Angelie Bourgeois-Pelletier.
Another one bites the dust. Juraj Slafkovsky is the latest victim of the love bug, as the news broke out of his new girlfriend just hours after Brendan Gallagher's wedding, which was also attended by Carey Price and his wife.
It seems as though Habs' players have a soft spot for Quebec women, as Brendan Gallagher just married Quebecer Emma Fortin, and Michael Pezzetta was seen around town with his Quebec girlfriend Mireille Boutin. Now, Slafkovsky was seen at Rojo restaurant with his new girl Angelie.
Just minutes after photos of Slafkovsky and Angelie began to surface online, it was reported that Angelie immediately changed her name on social media and switched around some of her photos too. She clearly wants her relationship to remain private.
Now that Slafkovsky appears to have settled down with a local, fans can be encouraged that this means he plans to remain in Montreal for a very long time, and after coming off a career season, that's fantastic news for the Habs organization.
