Martin St-Louis' Leave of Absence Linked to his Youngest Son: An Official Update Should be Made Soon

According to Truman, who seem to know something we don't about the situation, mentionned that he wouldn't be surprised if we know more about the coach's situation later today.

Here's what he posted on X:

"I wouldn't be surprise that we know more about the situation of Martin St-Louis' youngest son today."

"I won't say anything. It's private.

It's up to the family or the Canadiens to share those details, or not." *Translated from French

He believes the Canadiens will release a statement soon, and if they do, make sure to tune in for all the details!

Meanwhile, everyone in the hockey community stands behind St-Louis as he goes throught these hard times.

The players are surely hoping he joins the team soon.

Canadiens Continue Tough Trip in the Western Conference Tomorrow Against the Oilers Without Their Top Leader

Since he came in Montreal, St-Louis has been the team leader. He can't wear the C on his jersey, but everyone who's following the Canadiens know that he's the true source of inspiration in the locker room.

The Canadiens once again had a rough season and for the last stretch, they have one of the toughest schedule in the NHL. Before the month ends, the Habs will face many top teams, such as the Oilers, Canucks, Avalanche and Hurricanes.

There's no doubt that the players will try to compete as hard as they can for St-Louis and his son. All season long, we saw that when they play against top teams, players come out strong. Unortunately, that wasn't the case last Saturday, the first game without the coach; Montreal lost 5-2 against the Calgary Flames.

With no information available, it's hard to predict when the coach will be back with the team. All we can do is hope for the best and don't forget that his son's health far more important than hockey.
