Max Domi Gives Puck to Fan With Type 1 Diabetes
Max Domi has been a vocal advocate regarding Type 1 Diabetes since he has been diagnosed with the disease. He has written books on the subject, and often his work within the community focuses on helping those who have Diabetes.
During a recent game, Domi was able to show just how much he cares about showing love to those fans who have the disease, as he gave a puck to a fan who had a sign saying they had Type 1 Diabetes as well.
The gesture is sure to mean a lot to the fan, and Domi commented after the game that he hopes to be able to make an impact on people's lives just like Bobby Clark made an impact on his.
"I remember what I was like at that age. I met Bobby Clarke. He took 30 seconds out of his day & it changed my life. If I can do even a fraction of what he did for me for someone else, I'm doing something right"

Domi doesn't stop with just handing out pucks as his form of working with the community. Over the weekend, he shared a social media post that focuses on weightlifting for those who have the disease, sharing that he is inspired by the account.
The workouts seem to be working for Domi, who has found his game in the latter half of the season for the Leafs. Domi has 8 goals and 27 assists for the Leafs and has 4 points in his last 5 games.
