The Rangers series versus the Devils has been nothing short of entertaining, both on and off the ice. These teams hate each other with a passion, and it appears that the fans do as well.
Play Stupid Games, Win Stupid Prizes
A video has been released from the Devils' 4-0 stomping of the Rangers, in which a fan of each team engaged in a heated argument mid play. The Devils fan gets really close to the Rangers fan, and starts screaming in his face, meanwhile onlookers begin to egg them on. The Devils fan then smacks the Rangers fan's drink out of his hand, which prompts the Rangers fan to finally retaliate, by way of putting his assailant in a choke-hold until he loses consciousness.
This video is truly unbelievable at first sight, as both participants likely paid hundreds to even attend that game, and instead were more focused on fighting one another over a sport. We have very little context to go with the video, but it's clear that something happened to set them off on each other like they did.
What do you think about this video? Did the Devils fan deserve what he got, or did the Rangers fan take it too far?
