The Verdict is in for Patrick Roy
Patrick Roy has been in the headlines a lot these past few days. After his team won the Memorial Cup, rumors of a comeback in the NHL have intensified.
A couple of teams were rumored to be interested, including the New York Rangers.
Patrick Roy with the Rangers?
After they fired Gerard Gallant a couple weeks ago, Roy was linked to the Rangers. Since then, as the Rangers are in the hiring process, a new development came out, dismissing all rumors of Roy in the Big Apple.
Other Teams Interested?
A lot of teams that were looking for a coach have already found one. The Capitals, the Predators, the Ducks, the Blue Jackets all named their new HC.
Now, unless something changes, only the Rangers and the Flames are without a coach.
John Hynes and Peter Laviolette are reportedly the favorites in NY, and the Flames seem interested in Gallant.
