Brady Tkachuk hits the trade block per insider Jeremy Rutherford
St. Louis Blues insider Jeremy Rutherford has dropped a bombshell on Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk as he is expected to hit the track block.
The power forward is a dying breed of NHL player as the game is transitioning towards more skill and less strength. The very few there are in the league are highly coveted assets as they have the capability to turn a game on its head and get under opponents' skin.
One of these power forwards, Ottawa Senators captain Brady Tkachuk, is reportedly hitting the trade block per St. Louis Blues reporter and NHL insider Jeremy Rutherford.
Could Brady Tkachuk want out of Ottowa?
Would #stlblues be able to put together a legitimate deal?
Jeremy Rutherford joined #TheOpeningDrive to talk about the rumblings, if the move would fit the Blues offseason & the haul it could potentially take.
It sounds like there is real smoke behind a Brady Tkachuk trade this offseason, with the St. Louis Blues being listed as a potential fit.
As per, Jeremy Rutherford.
While it would certainly cost a hefty package for Tkachuk, he would likely be worth it as his brother, Matthew Tkachuk, has been for Florida.
The Blues were reportedly among the finalists for Matthew Tkachuk but were outbid by the Florida Panthers who offered up a king's ransom for the elder Tkachuk brother.
We will wait and see if the Senators do decide to move on from Tkachuk this offseason and if they do, who he will go to.
