The New York Rangers captain Jacob Trouba will likely get away with a dirty elbow hit on Evan Rodrigues of the Florida Panthers in game three.

Once again, the referees made a debatable call during yesterday's game between the Rangers and the Panthers.

Jacob Trouba landed an elbow hit to the head of Evan Rodrigues and after handing him a five-minutes penalty, which automatically gets under review at the Department of Player Safety, refs changed their minds and reduced the penalty to a minor one.

Jacob Trouba is the Draymond Green of the NHL, only the NHL refs don't have the stones to throw his cheap a** out

How one of the most blatant & intentional elbows of his career (which is saying a lot) isn't a major just doesn't make any sense. What a joke. Dude's a total

Jacob Trouba gets a two-minute penalty for the slash and another two for this egregious elbow.

How was this not a major?

If the NHL's DoPS decides to punish Trouba, we should know more about the situation later today. However, with only a two-minute penalty, we can expect that no consequences will be handed out to him. It that's what ends up happening, the Panthers will likely decide to seek revenge on their own, tomorrow, before game four.
