The Flyers' Ask for Carter Hart Has Been Revealed and it's Insane!
Young, skilled goalies don't come on the market too often. When they do, teams line up to try to acquire them. The selling team can rightfully expect a ransom.
In the case of Carter Hart, an insider has revealed that his cost is a whopping two first round picks.
Massive Trade Ask for Hart
Carter Hart is by no means an ordinary goalie. He's only 24, and has a long developmental runway ahead of him. He has also already been a starter in the league for several years.
While his actual numbers aren't amazing, any scout who goes beyond them can tell that there is a special player.
Is He Worth it?
Is that player worth two first-round picks? Well, in a trade market where Ivan Provorov fetches a first and a second, anything is possible.
With other goalies, such as Thatcher Demko, Jeremy Swayman, and Juuse Saros potentially being on the move, Hart's trade will have a major impact.
It's definitely sounding like we'll have some blockbusters this summer!
