BREAKING: Penguins Add Massive Name to Their Front Office
The Pittsburgh Penguins made a major announcement in the last few minutes.
Pens Hire NHL Legend
The Penguins have officially hired Doug Wilson as Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations.
"The Penguins have named Doug Wilson as Senior Advisor of Hockey Operations.
In his role, Wilson will provide counsel, opinions, and expertise to hockey operations leadership on all matters including personnel decisions."
Wilson played in the NHL between 1977 and 1993, for the Blackhawks and the Sharks.
He won the Norris Trophy in 1982, after an 85-points season.
He'll bring his experience and his knowledge to the Penguins and try to help them win a Stanley Cup.
It's intersting to note that Wilson was also involved with the first Erik Karlsson trade, being the Sharks' GM at the time.
