It looks like Mark Pysyk's time in the NHL is coming to an end.
Pysyk Gets Released From PTO by the Penguins
Pysyk signed a professional tryout contract with the Pittsburgh Penguins earlier this season.
After months of hoping for a full-time contract in the NHL, he has been released by the Penguins.
"The Penguins have released defenseman Mark Pysyk from his professional tryout."
Pysyk has been in the NHL over a decade, playing for the Sabres, Panthers, Red Wings and Stars. The 31-year-old defenseman scored 104 points in 521 games.
