During his press conference at the end of the afternoon, the commissioner of the National Hockey League, Gary Bettman, spoke about the potential return of a hockey team to Quebec City.
First of all, without much surprise, Bettman mentioned that for the moment, the NHL was not in the process of expansion.
He also stated that if the Quebec City Nordiques were to make a potential bid again, Montreal Canadiens owner Geoff Molson would support it.
That's great news! The Canadiens owner wants to see another team in Quebec. It will happen eventually. Just a matter of time!
More details to follow.
