Matthew Knies missed the Maple Leafs last game with an illness but he is now taking steps to recover and getting back into action.
Knies Begins Practice After Missing Game With Illness
Last Tuesday the Toronto Maple Leafs faced off against the New York Rangers in a 7-3 victory. While they won dominantly, they also did so short-handed as they were without rookie Matthew Knies who missed the game sick.
Today the Maple Leafs are set to face off against the Columbus Blue Jackets and we now have a new update on Knies' health.
Matthew Knies is on the ice for morning skate. Missed last game due to illness
While Knies is practicing, it is expected that he will miss tonight's game as he is practicing as the 13th forward.
