BREAKING: Maple Leafs Have Chosen Their Next GM

The Toronto Maple Leafs have made their decision as to who will replace Kyle Dubas in the role of general manager. The news comes less than two weeks after Dubas was let go by the organization.

The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to name Brad Treliving as their next general manager, as first reported by Darren Dreger. Treliving was just let go by Calgary after serving as their GM for many years.

Treliving's name has been at the top of Toronto's list since their search started, but other notable candidates included former GMs Marc Bergevin and Peter Chiarelli.

With Treliving to be named their GM, he has lots of work to do as the Leafs prepare to tackle massive issues such as Auston Matthews' extension.
