BREAKING: Sheldon Keefe Confirms the Leafs' Game Four Starting Goalie
The Toronto Maple Leafs have confirmed who will be their starting Goalkeeper for a crucial Game 4 in Florida.
Starting Goalie Ilya Samsonov was injured in Toronto's Game 3 against the Panthers, and was replaced by Backup Joseph Woll.
Now, Leafs Coach Sheldon Keefe has confirmed it will be Woll who will start for Toronto in a must win Game 4, the Leafs starving off a potential series sweep against the Panthers.
As well, it is confirmed that Matt Murray, who has been out due to injury, but was permitted as the emergency Goalie for the Leafs, will backup Woll for Game 4 if needed. It would be Murray's first appearance if Woll struggles.
This will be Woll's first start in the playoffs, and it comes at the most necessary time for a win, as a loss will be the end of Toronto's season, and perhaps, the end of their best chance at a cup for a while.
