After another disappointing playoff run in Toronto, the Leafs and Kyle Dubas decided to part ways. However, much to everyone's surprise, Dubas was abruptly named the President of Hockey Operations for the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Dubas Era Begins
Initially, it was unclear whether this new position would be a short-term or long-term commitment for Dubas.
However, recent developments indicate that both Dubas and the Penguins have committed to a long-term relationship.
Penguins Signed Dubas Longterm
According to Elliotte Friedman, it has been revealed that Dubas signed a 7-year deal with the Penguins, effectively making him in charge until 2031.
