Leafs Fans Calling For New Goal Song And It Looks Like They Might Have Found One
The Toronto Maple Leafs' goal song has been "You Make My Dreams Come True" by Hall & Oates since 2018.
Fans Want to Change
After five years of hearing that song, the Leafs fans are tired of hearing it.
Even Auston Matthews would like to see a change.
"I wouldn't mind hearing something different, maybe switching it up," Matthews told Tim Micallef in September 2022.
"Just change it up, switch it up. See if we can get something else going, and go on a nice little run. I'm always open to change, but if they want to stick with the same one too, I'm fine as well."
New Idea
As you probably, know, the WWE's wrestler Edge had his last fight earlier this week and some fans suggested the Leafs' goal song be changed to his walk-out song.
Nick Barden of The Hockey News gave two other suggestions to replace the Leafs' goal song.
