Toronto's top six will likely be taking a hit this summer. With Michael Bunting set to leave in free agency, the Leafs will need to compensate for his loss. The core four accounts for 66% of the Leafs' top six but they will need to plug in somebody on the top lines.
Lawson Crouse could be the top six forward the Leafs are looking for. Finishing last season 2nd in goalscoring for the Coyotes, Crouse is a big body who can score. He also plays a very physical game which is valuable come the playoffs.
It is rumored that the Leafs and Crouse could be a perfect fit.

Crouse is a native of Ontario and could bring a big physical presence to the Leafs' top six which has been near nonexistent the past few seasons. Pair his knack for getting in front of the net with Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner and you may have a recipe for a point-per-game player and one of the most dominant lines in the NHL.
To TOR:
Lawson Crouse
To ARZ:
Nick Robertson
Jake Muzzin
2026 2nd round pick (upgrades to a first if the Leafs win the cup before 2026 with Crouse)
