The Toronto Maple Leafs have a new goal song and it is generating a lot of buzz.
Leafs New Goal Song
Lance Hornby of the Toronto Sun revealed that the Maple Leafs goal song will not be changing which has generated a lot of buzz.
My spies tell me the Leafs' Hall and Oates goal song is NOT changing at this stage of the season, but we'll listen when Ryan Reaves goes top shelf tonight to confirm. Insider Elliotte Friedman is calling for the Leafs to make the change away from the current song.
Despite his Hall and Oates fandom, @FriedgeHNIC is calling for the @MapleLeafs to finally change their goal song.
Will The Leafs Make The Change?
One fan pointed out how the wording in Hornby's original post could elude to something more.
meaning it'll change for game 1?
Hornby's post could be eluding to a potential change coming up. Fans are obviously divided but with so many teams changing their goal song regularly, it seems like it is finally time for Toronto to make this change.
