Bowen Inducted into Ontario Sports Hall of Fame

Joe Bowen is a fan favourite in nearly every Leafs fan household. The legendary colour commentator is approaching 40 years on the job calling Leafs' games on both radio and television. Bowen received the Brian Williams media award to go along with his induction, recognizing his years of promotion for amateur hockey and charitable causes.

Bowen Among Other Leaf Executives Inducted into Ontario Sports Hall of Fame

Brendan Shanahan was also inducted into the Ontario Sports Hall of Fame, recognizing his excellence when playing the game of hockey and his contributions after his playing days ended. This includes his spearheading initiatives with the Leafs that aim to expand their fanbase to non-traditional fans.
