The Toronto Maple Leafs officially replaced Hall and Oates' "You Make My Dreams" with a new goal song.

When Noah Gregor scored the first goal of the season in Toronto, fans at the Scotiabank Arena heard a Steve Aoki remix of Kid Cudi's 'Pursuit of Happiness.'

They ended up hearing it six times during the victory!

If you missed it, this is the new goal song for the Maple Leafs:

Leafs Players' Reactions to the New Goal Song

After the game, reporters asked players what they thought of the new goal song.

Here's what they said:

"Tavares on the new goal song: 'We want to hear it a lot, so it sounds good to me.'

He said he was not consulted on it because that's 'not his specialty.'"

"'I don't think that's my specialty. I know when to stay in my lane, I guess,' he said, smiling."

Even though he scored three goals, Matthews didn't notice the new song:

Auston Matthews said he didn't even remember the goal song changing: 'It didn't even register for me. I'll have to go back and listen.'

"It's a hell of a song, so I like it." - Mitch Marner

David Alter also commented on the Leafs' choice:

"I'm over 35 and okay with it."

It was also revealed that the Leafs will use different songs throughout the season. Stay tuned for the latest updates!
