Over the years, many celebrities have taken in NHL games and represented their favourite teams or jersey's, and every time one of them is pictured in a jersey, it's a great marketing opportunity for the NHL.

The latest in a long-line of celebrity fans appears to be American artist Post Malone, who is in Canada as a part of his latest world tour, with his latest concert taking place in Toronto.
Like other celebrities, this gave him the opportunity to win the home crowd over with a Maple Leafs jersey, as he took to the stage rocking a Tie Domi No. 28 throwback jersey, much to the delight of the audience in attendance.

In attendance for this show was Max and Tie Domi, the former of which recently signed with the Maple Leafs, and after the show, the young superstar got the chance to meet both of them.
The NHL is often criticized for their struggles in marketing the league, as the growth falls well short of what we have seen for the MLB, NFL and NBA in recent years, but the more celebrities do this, the more eyes it potentially gets on the product.
