Sean Avery Rips Into Ryan Reaves for Lack of Response to Brad Marchand
Sean Avery is well known for stirring it up, during both his playing days and now during his retirement. He has taken to his podcast to rip into Ryan Reaves for his lack of response to Brad Marchand's dirty play against Timothy Liljegren, and points out some worrisome issues with Reaves in Toronto.
"Where was Ryan Reaves after the Brad Marchand can opener?"
"He said he didn't get matched up with Brad Marchand. You're one of the worst players in the league. Of course your not going to get matched up against Marchand. You still need to find a way to make Marchand scared of you."
Sean Avery Has Already Made a Comment Toward Ryan Reaves Regarding Corey Perry
This isn't the first time that Avery has voiced his displeasure with Reaves and his actions (or lack thereof). Earlier this year, Avery called out Reaves for his comments regarding Corey Perry and even said that Reaves wouldn't be in the lineup halfway through the year.
Hopefully, for Leaf fans, Reaves figures out exactly how to succeed in his role, otherwise, Avery might just be right.
