Sheldon Keefe Calls Out His Team During Post Game Interview
The Toronto Maple Leafs had their first rough game of the preseason. After the game head coach Sheldon Keefe was not pleased with his team's effort.

The Toronto Maple Leafs blew a 4-2 lead against the Montreal Canadiens last night. After the game Sheldon Keefe was asked about his team's performance and what went wrong.

Keefe had some strong words for his team to the media. He clearly was frustrated by their lack of ability to close the game out. This is something that has plagued the Leafs for years now.
Keefe Calls Out His Team During Post Game
Sheldon Keefe did not hold back on how his players should feel about their performance. He made it clear that the loss should be one that players should feel and be bitter about.
The Maple Leafs having issues holding on to a lead in preseason is not the end of the world on its own. If this becomes a trend in the early part of the season that is when frustration should set in.
The Maple Leafs brought in several free-agent additions to be different, especially in close games. If nothing changes question will need to be answered by the coach and general manager.
