Leafs' security investigated for excessive force following video evidence
We all understand that being a security officer is a very stressful job. However, that does not excuse excessively violent behavior. Now one security officer employed by the Leafs is facing criticism as a video emerged of him using excessive force on a fan.
We must warn our readers that the following video is graphic. Viewer discretion is advised. In the video, a security guard at Scotiabank Arena can be seen slamming his knees into a man who was lying face-down on the concrete ground.
It has sense been revealed that the security guard in question is being investigated both by Toronto PD and Maple Leafs Sports Entertainment Group.

Since the video came out few details have been made public. What he do know is that Toronto police responded to a call at 9:48 PM regarding an arrest in relation to an assault. They also confirmed that a 37-year-old man had been taken into custody but it is not clear whether that was the security guard or the man on the ground. Stay tuned for further updates.
