Brad Marchand Reveals His Favorite Hockey Team, Admits to Feeling Embarrassed
Brad Marchand is known for two things; being a pest, and being a Boston Bruin. He single handedly alters the identity of the team. He is the embodiment of what it means to be a Bruin. This is likely why he was so embarrassed to reveal his favorite team growing up.
Marchand Reveals Favorite Team Growing Up Was The Toronto Maple leafs
The Bruins captain had to state what his favorite team as a kid was as part of of a segment for an NHL broadcast. He introduced himself before lowering his voice and hanging his head in shame as he finished his thought by adding that his favorite team growing up was the Toronto Maple Leafs.
You can feel the absolute 𝙋𝘼𝙄𝙉 in Brad Marchand's voice when he says his favorite team growing up was the Leafs 😭
The pain he emits in the clip is very obvious and fans took notice. Several started making jokes at the Bruins captain's expense on social media.
The deep shame in #NHLBruins Brad Marchand's voice that he grew up a Toronto Maple Leafs fan 🤣🤣
Considering the fact that Marchand grew up in eastern Canada, it should come as no surprise that he was a Leafs fan. The Halifax native would most likely have been a fan of either the Leafs or the Canadiens. He did not reveal why he chose the Leafs in the segment so we will just have to ask him more about this in an upcoming interview.
