Brad Treliving has a lot on his plate for his first off-season in Toronto by having to deal with the goaltender situation, the UFAs and the draft will take up a lot of his time.
Now, two more doors have opened.
While Pierre-Luc Dubois of the Winnipeg Jets has been linked to the Montreal Canadiens for the past few years, it's not the only team he could end up playing for.
Now that he'll officially change team, rumors sending him to Toronto are getting louder every day.
Alex DeBrincat of the Ottawa Senators is another player rumored to interest the Leafs. The elite sniper would be a great acquisition for the Leafs' power play unit. He let the Sens know that he'll look to play elsewhere. However, as the rumors indicate, he probably won't stay in Canada.
The Leafs have what it takes to complete such a trade. If they decide to move a player from the Core Four, they could very well land important players like Dubois or DeBrincat.
One thing's certain, Treliving will probably try to make a big move during his first off-season as Toronto's GM.
As seen on Leafs Nation - Dubois and DeBrincat being available complicates things for the Maple Leafs
