In breaking news, it appears Auston Matthews is absent from Leafs practice today ahead of game 3 at home versus the Boston Bruins.

Auston Matthews had a career post-season game in game 2 against the Bruins, scoring the game-winning goal in the third period and getting a point on all 3 goals for the Leafs. However, some concerning news has just broken today, that Matthews is absent from practice today.

Auston Matthews is absent from the #leafs morning skate.

There have been no details revealed as to why Matthews isn't at practice today, and it is likely that it could just be rest/maintenance for game day skate. However, it is still concerning for fans, who have voiced that on social media.
