The Toronto Maple Leafs are preparing for an epic Game 7 matchup against the Boston Bruins. After practicing today superstar Auston Matthews is a game-time decision for tonight's game. NHL analyst Paul Bissonnette took to X today to reveal whether or not he thinks Auston Matthews will play.
After missing the last two games for the Toronto Maple Leafs there is growing hope that Auston Matthews will return tonight. He returned to full practice with the Maple Leafs for the first time since his injury.
This afternoon NHL personality Paul Bissonnette decided to announce that he believes Auston Matthews will be returning to the lineup tonight.
As of now, there have been no announcements guaranteeing the return of Auston Matthews to the lineup. During an interview after practice, Sheldon Keefe said the team was preparing to play as they had been without Auston Matthews.
The beginning of warmups for tonight's Game 7 might be the true determination of whether or not Auston Matthews will return. If he does return it would be a massive boost to the lineup for the Maple Leafs in the biggest game of their season.
