Yesterday the Toronto Maple Leafs placed William Lagesson on waivers.
Today, it was sadly confirmed that he was claimed by the Anaheim Ducks.

It is unfortunate for the Leafs to lose a piece like Lagesson for nothing but they have acquired Ilya Lyubushkin and Joel Edmundson over the past week so it stings a bit less.
