Easton Cowan and Fraser Minten connect for a beauty goal at Prospect Showcase
It didn't take long for the Toronto Maple Leafs to answer back from Montreal's tying goal in the Prospect Showcase as Fraser Minten and Easton Cowan connected for a beautiful goal.
Minten deposited the puck near the sideboards and ended up snapping a low wrist shot between the legs of netminder Samuel Richard. He was set up thanks to some fantastic play by Easton Cowan which was followed by a bullet pass by Topi Niemala and Minten made sure to make it count.
It was the Maple Leafs second PP goal of the game and came after Noah Chadwick was brutally cross-checked into the net.
