The Toronto Maple Leafs have a crucial inter-conference game tomorrow against the Carolina Hurricanes. According to reports from practice veteran goalie Ilya Samsonov will be called on to start.

After a difficult start to the year Samsonov is back on track and playing some of the best hockey of his career. If the Maple Leafs are going to knock off the Hurricanes Samsonov will need to continue his incredible stretch of play.

Ilya Samsonov made 26 saves and helped the @MapleLeafs improve to 20-7-6 as visitors this season. Toronto's .697 point percentage on the road is second best in the NHL behind only Florida (.735).
