Toronto Maple Leafs GM Brad Treliving has a lot of work to do this offseason and two Leafs UFA's, John Klingberg and Matt Murray, could return on cheaper deals.

Two of the bigger disappointments for the Toronto Maple Leafs over the past few years have been Matt Murray and John Klingberg. Both were brought in to be impact players and had injuries derail their time with the Leafs.
Last year Klingberg got into only 14 games with the Leafs and Murray got into only three AHL games with the Toronto Marlies.
A recent report has shared that both Murray and Klingberg don't want their time with the Maple Leafs to end and that both are open to staying with the team.
Perhaps we have not seen the last of John Klingberg and Matt Murray donning the Blue and White

With both coming off major injuries, they will certainly need to take substantial pay cuts to stay with the Leafs.
If both can recover to full health, they could see a career resurgence and could become the impact players that they were brought in to be originally.
