Life-changing news announced for Simon Benoit
Simon Benoit of the Toronto Maple Leafs has been having one of the best years of his NHL career and he now just had life-changing news announced.
Recently, Alice Deslaulnier posted to her Instagram showing off a baby bump and tagging Simon Benoit.
Benoit is in his 4th NHL year and is in his first year with the Leafs. Through 64 games, Benoit scored 1 goal and 4 assists for 5 points. Offense is not his forte but Benoit instilled a physical presence in his game amassing 54 PIMs. He also had a solid defensive game finishing as a +7 on the year.
Benoit has also played in all of the Maple Leafs playoff games thus far going scoreless and amassing 4 PIMs. The Leafs are currently down 2-1 in their series against the Boston Bruins and they will look to tie things up at 2 a piece.
