Mitch Marner trade: Frank Seravalli provides unexpected update
According to insider Frank Seravalli, Leafs forward Mitch Marner could be on the move this week leading up to the NHL draft.
The Mitch Marner saga will be over sooner rather than later, as the Leafs are aggresievly trying to trade the forward leading up to the NHL draft. According to Frank Seravalli, there is no interest in an extension, meaning a trade may be looming.
Seravalli on SN590 says under no circumstances do the Leafs have any interest in extending Marner. If a trade happens there's a strong likelihood it happens this week
"I think the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to do everything within their power to try and make something happen"
The Leafs have NO interest in extending Mitch Marner. If a trade were to happen, it would likely be this week.
"I think the Toronto Maple Leafs are going to do everything within their power to try and make something happen."
Marner, is approaching the final year of his 11M contract, and with no extension in place or even a talk, GM Brad Treliving has given up on the once proclaimed Leafs star. It is officially over for him in the Six.
More details to come as we approach draft week in Vegas.
