Toronto Maple Leafs make scheduling announcement for 2024-25 season
While the Stanley Cup Finals still roll on, the Toronto Maple Leafs are looking forward to their own chase next season, and have now dropped major schedule news.
The Toronto Maple Leafs are expected to make some big changes this off-season ahead of another Stanley Cup push, and now we know when we'll see this new team on the ice. Sure, those changes are still to come, but now, the Maple Leafs have announced their pre-season schedule, with some very familiar opponents on the way for Toronto.
Our preseason schedule is set 📆
The schedule is quite simple, six games against three division rivals, starting with the Ottawa Senators, then on to the Montreal Canadiens and finally the Detroit Red Wings. The Maple Leafs will play each team in two games of a home/away set, culminating with the pre-season finale against Detroit on October 5th, right before the regular season is set to begin.
Absolutely nobody knows what the Maple Leafs roster will look like at this time, with the team expected to make some major additions, but they'll have ample time to gel on the ice, and if they can get going early, we may be looking at a talented, motivated team ready to take the NHL by storm in 2024-25.
