The Toronto Maple Leafs defenseman Morgan Rielly was caught on a hot mic yelling at Ilya Samsonov during David Pastrnak's OT goal in game 7 against the Boston Bruins.

Leafs fans will remember the Bruins' overtime goal for a long time. Not only did it eliminate the team from the playoffs, it shed light on many issues within the organization.

The Bruins and Pastrnak made Mitch Marner, Morgan Rielly and Ilya Samsonov look like junior players. He managed to beat them fair and square, pushing management to look at possibilities for parting ways with those players.

Since the Leafs were eliminated, Sheldon Keefe was fired, and Brad Treliving revealed he would look into making big changes in the summer, possibly involving key players, such as Marner and Rielly.

If the Leafs had win the game, things could be a lot different for the team. Reaching the second round could've convinced Treliving to keep Sheldon Keefe as head coach, and rumors about Marner and Rielly's departure would probably not exist.

It's all because of Pastrnak's goal.

In a new video, we can hear Rielly's reaction when Pastrnak was going on a breakaway.

He told Samsonov to poke the puck from Pastrnak.

Here's the video:

"You can hear Morgan Rielly in the background scream out to Samsonov telling him to poke check Pastrnak

«Poke Sammy»"

It's hard to blame Samsonov for the goal. Rielly is much more responsible, as he let the Bruins' player skate in the Leafs' zone with ease.
